With 30 years’ garden landscaping experience, Alan Dodge oversees and project manages all of our landscaping schemes, including resources, men, materials and machinery – everything required to construct and plant your garden.
It is always beneficial to have a scale drawing to work with no matter how small the project. It might be a plan for a set of steps or a pond – no two gardens are ever the same. You’ll probably have your own garden landscaping ideas too, and these will be drawn up so that everyone is clear about the plan. Alan draws the analogy that no matter how small, creating a garden without a plan is very similar to driving to Scotland without a roadmap!

Both Alan & Sue work closely with you throughout the design build and they can liaise with planners and authorities if the work requires it. Once the garden outline has been constructed and the lawns turfed, Sue can draw up a planting plan for the beds and borders and Alan would give you the cost for the work involved to cultivate, plant and bark off.
